Smart Heating follows real time electricity prices and market conditions. When electricity is cheaper or the grid has more space, your heat pump runs a bit more. When prices are higher or the grid is busy, heating runs less or starts a bit earlier or later. Your home stays within your comfort range at all times.

Help the electricity grid
When many homes heat at the same time, the electricity grid can become busy. Smart Heating spreads heating over time by starting a little earlier or later. This helps reduce pressure on the grid.
Smart Heating works if you have a dynamic energy contract with Frank and Smart Heating is activated in the app. Supported heat pump and air conditioning brands are shown alongside.
After a short learning period of around two to four weeks, the system understands how your home responds to heating and cooling. From that point on, Smart Heating starts optimising automatically.
