Smart Heating can start heating or cooling a bit earlier or later. This spreads power use over time and helps reduce pressure on the electricity grid.
Smart heating
Smart Heating controls your heat pump or airco automatically. It can start a little earlier or later, or pause briefly when needed. That means your heat pump is activated when the total cost of electricity is lowest - combining both the market price and grid fees. These small changes help save power and do not reduce comfort at home.
In the app, you choose how much Smart Heating may adjust the temperature. You can see how much power you save in the app. Your electricity bill shows the results each month.
The savings shown are based on the performance of our Smart Heating controls in 2025. This provides an indication, but no guarantee, of future savings. The calculation is based on an annual heating demand of 3,500 kWh and cooling demand of 2,500 kWh, served by a 5 kW heat pump and a 3.5 kW air conditioning unit. It is assumed that 4,000 kWh of solar energy is produced annually on-site. Smart shifting is applied with a maximum flexibility window of 12 hours for heating and 3 hours for cooling, aligning consumption with solar production and off-peak tariff periods where possible. The savings shown are regularly updated based on actual results. No rights can be derived from these calculations.
